Want
to take better pictures with your digital camera?
Join us at Rocky Mountain National Park to enjoy springtime
in Colorado while developing your digital camera expertise.
This one-day, intensive workshop will help you master digital
techniques and photographic skills, including:
- Digital camera settings
- Image resolution
- White balance
- JPG vs. RAW file formats
- Aperture and shutter speed
- Composition
- Special effects
We’ll
meet in the town of Estes Park in the morning and carpool
into Rocky Mountain National Park for a full day of educational
photography in an interactive group setting. In addition
to capturing Long’s Peak, the Continental Divide and
the Never Summer Mountains, we’ll photograph picturesque
locations such as:
- Waterfall at the Alluvial Fan
- Bear Lake
- Chasm Falls
- Beaver Ponds
- Lava Cliffs
Don’t miss this hands-on opportunity to learn from
the experts. Our small group size ensures plenty of personal,
one-on-one instruction from workshop leaders Nat Coalson
and Mark Ferguson. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity
to try out high-end digital cameras for free.
DETAILS
You must bring your own digital camera; any type of digital
camera is acceptable for this workshop. A lightweight, inexpensive
point-and-shoot digital camera or digital SLR is acceptable.
A tripod is strongly suggested, as many of the techniques
we’ll cover will require a stable platform for your
camera. However, if you choose to not bring a tripod you
will still benefit from this workshop.
PARK ENTRANCE FEES, TRANSPORTATION IN THE PARK
AND
LUNCH ARE ALL INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE WORKSHOP
