Mark Ferguson
An avid photographer for over two decades, Mark’s interest in photography began in childhood with a Canon AE-1. He has since been re-invigorated by the emergence of high-end digital cameras. After attending photography workshops offered by other companies, Mark recognized the need for a more comprehensive educational program designed to meet the needs of photographers wanting full control over their digital process. Thus, Workshops for Photographers was born.

Mark has worked in the software industry beginning in 1989 as a software developer, product manager, marketing/advertising strategist and entrepreneur. Through this career, Mark developed in-depth knowledge of digital imaging technology, gained in part from his work on computer imaging systems at Intergraph. He has broad customer service experience in developing requirements, handling logistics, managing teams and bringing new products to market.

Mark is also a guru of gadgets: among his other talents, he is skilled in GPS, remote power systems and all things electronic. Mark’s expertise in trip planning and logistics ensures all Workshops for Photographers participants enjoy a comfortable, productive learning experience.
